O Globo | Ban Ki-moon comes to Brazil for Pre-COP 30 Event

The first of the pre-COP 30 events, which will be held in Belém in 2025, will take place at the end of August — naturally, in Belém, in the Pará state.

The Amazon and New Economies International Conference, which will debate the development of cities in the Amazon, the financing of new economies, climate security and climate transition, already has its first international guest confirmed: former UN secretary general, Ban Ki-moon.
